Is it right or wrong to feel the need to tell your friends boyfriend of her Genital herpes?

I have/had a best friend that has genital herpes. She was diagnosed over a year ago. The current boyfriend in which she has been with for approximately a year, has no clue she has this. She is afraid he will leave her when he finds out. We are no longer friends because I felt what she was doing to him (the one she supposedly loves) was beyond wrong. I have never said I would tell her boyfriend, but she had the perfect chance to tell him when she had a bump that was from the HSV2 virus. She told him she was going to the doctor to find out and would keep him informed. I guess he said if she had it he was going to leave her if he didnt come back with it. They have never used protection. Long story short, she told him she didnt have it. So now thats two HUGE lies she has told him and he thinks hes safe from disease, but he isnt and probably has it. Like I said, I told her this was too big of a deceit for me to stand by and be her friend while she is ruining someones life!! Right or wrong?

Mind your own business. You CANNOT tell him. And you know WAY too much about their sex life.

Besides----if he is so dumb NOT to use a condom, then he should know he can get STDs. Nope. You can't tell him.
Tell someone or endanger another innocent person's safety. That is worlds more important than if your old best friend stays with her boyfriend or not. This is a situation where it is morally wrong to keep quiet. Tell your parents, or tell her's. Tell both! It doesn't matter, as long as he finds out before its too late for anything to be done.
right never under estimate your gut feeling.your doing the right thing
It's not your place to tell. Evidently, they are going through this for a reason.
I would talk to your best friend and tell her what you feel the need to tell her boyfriend. It is wrong she keeps it a secret from him, and instead of hiding it, she could have told him and saved him from getting herpes too.
look at it this way ,,,if you were the guy would you want some one to tell you or keep it from you ,,,,,hell yes tell him to day,,,peace out
He'll probably leave her when learns she had a communicable disease and neglected to tell him. If "they" never use protection, he's responsible for what happens to his own unit. She's a liar, she's careless, she's selfish, irresponsible and extremely weak. But he decided not to use protection based on her "word" rather than STD tests- he's foolish.
