How many lads out there would go into a relationship with a girl who tells them that she has genital herpes?

THE STORY IS MY GIRLFRIEND OF 3 YEARS HAS JUST SPLIT WITH ME SHE TOLD ME WE NEEDED SOMETIME APART AND SHE HOPED WE COULD SORT THINGS OUT IN THE FUTURE. THEN I HEAR SHE IS SEEING SOMEONE ELSE. WEEKS INTO OUR RELATIONSHIP SHE TOLD ME SHE HAD GENITAL HERPES BUT I LOVED HER SO SO MUCH I DIDNT CARE. I AM STILL GUTTED OVER THE SPLIT. AND I WAS SORT OF HOPEING THAT THIS NEW LAD WOULD BE SCARED OFF WITH HER LITTLE PROBLEM MAYBE I SHOULD OF BEEN. I HAVE HAD LOADS AND LOADS OF TESTS TO CHECK IF I AM IN THE CLEAR AND THANK GOD I AM. AM I BETTER OF WITHOUT WHAT DO YOU LADS THINK OUT THERE

Actually I know several guys that would date a girl even if she has genital herpes.

I have had genital herpes for over 6 years now and not one guy has ever ran away from me when I told them I had genital herpes. They all chose to date me and be with me regardless of my STD. I even met and dated a guy for a little while who also had genital herpes.

You even said so yourself that it didn't bother you when you first got with her, so I'm sure there are other guys out there that it wouldn't bother either. At least you never got the virus from her! Source(s): Personal experience.

At least she was honest about it, so many peope arent and they end up spreading it to others. If you really love her I wouldn't let it get in the way of a relationship. I'm a girl, but if that happened to my bf, and I really loved him I don't think it would stop me from being with him . As far as the nut saying that you shouldnt have babies if you have herpes this simply isnt true. Generally if you dont have an actual outbreak at the time you can deliver vaginally however if there is an outbreak they will take the baby via c-section...but back to your girlfriend, if you love her and really want to b with her I wouldn't let it stop you..
Oh my God! You are better off without her. I don't say this because of her herpes . I mean because she broke up with you after 3 years and then dated other guys right away. Ok why did she leave you? If she descides to have children she will have a risky pregnancy then she will have to have a C-section instead of natural birth. Your children could have the desease and may even have developmental problems. Remember this is a desease that has NO cure. Yes there are medication to slow down the outbreaks BUT the desease is always there. Find yourself another girl!
I used to see a woman that had herpes. She told me BEFORE we ever got together. She used to take meds to control it, she never had an outbreak all the time we were together, and if she even thought she might be getting an outbreak she would not be intimate with me. She had been previously married for 7 years and her husband never had any problems. We used condoms at first but ended up riding bareback later on, I had no problems then and have no problems now years later. She has since remarried and while I can't say for sure I'd wager her and her husband ride bareback and don't worry about it.
As a guy you gotta know, if you have herpes its a curse of sexual death, all that much more difficult to find a partner, for a woman just a minor inconvenience, there will always someone wanting to be with her.
