How do i find a doctor who is likely to recommend marijuana to a glaucoma patient?

how to bring it up to a doctor w/o having them treat you like a drug addict?

Highly unlikely you will find one.

There is little medical evidence that marijuana is a useful treatment for glaucoma. There are a number of eyedrops and a few surgical procedures that are very effective in treating glaucoma, the doctor would want to use those instead.

first, make sure it's legal for medical use in your state...

then if it's legal there, just tell them nothing seems to help very well, and you've heard positive results with marijuana use. This is something they learn about in medical school.... as long as you don't come in high as hell and don't dress like a crack head, they'll take your question seriously... and if they don't and treat you rudely, you can always go somewhere else and never see them again.
It's confidential too.

medical grade marijuana has been prescribed for years for those suffering debilitating symptoms from glaucoma or the relief of nausea caused by chemo therapy for cancer. you may try talking to oncologists in your area, asking them if they would answer a very discreet question. they may know of someone in your medical community, who can prescribe, or give you discreet advice on how to proceed, legally. doctors can be helpful in private/discrete conversations, and very candid, in the information they can provide. simply level with them, and avoid those who brush you off in the future, when you need advice or are in need of medical treatment

Depending on where you are, you might not. HOWEVER, there is a legal synthetic thc rx that most insurance will cover called marinol. It may be of help to you.
