Glaucoma Dad has Glaucoma since 15 yrs. He has been using eyedrops for treatment. Recently he came to know?

that he has developed Tunnel Vision. I really do not know what that means and did a google search. I am very very worried and would like to know if this means he is slowly losing his vision. He would not want to go for eye surgery due to other health problems. He is 58 yrs old. Please explain.

development of tunnel vision signifies damage to the optic nerve which is irreversible, this means his intra-ocular pressures are high inspite of treatment and surgery is a serious option to prevent total loss of vision.

let me share you what i had read about glaucoma.heres the link dear.ill pray for your dads good health.chao
