There are about a dozen different kinds of glaucoma. Most are controlled, not cured. That means that using prescription eye drops prevents the disease from making you go blind but you need to continue to use the drops; if you stop then the disease will cause eye damage.

A few types of glaucoma can be cured with surgery. That means that after you have the surgery, you no longer have glaucoma.

Follow your doctor's advice. Acupuncture and marijuana are not effective and safe treatments for glaucoma

What type of glaucoma are you talking about? There are several.
I would be strongly tempted to say go with what your doctor tells you here. I am a complementary therapist, but have never heard of "cures".

Don't get taken in by quackery the only way to cure glaucoma is eye surgery.
Before the advancement of these procedures people went blind, period.

I don't think there is a cure, but it can be controlled by eye drops. my mother had it, now i have to be pressure checked every year because it's hereditary.

im not sure if there is a cure but if you live in a state that has medicinal marijuana try that.

If you live in one of the twelve states that have legalized marijuana for medicinal use get a prescription. It has helped me and it is safe and effective.

There are actually certain acupuncturists that can cure it.
