Is there a cure for Glaucoma?


My father has this eye ailment called open-angle glaucoma...
He's been undergoing laser treatment every other year. But I believe it only relieves the pain and not cure the illness itself.
Will he be able to see again?
Right now, he can only see blurry lights.

No there isn't a cure currently. Sorry to hear about your father but, it sounds like he is getting proper treatment. You & your family need to meet with your dad's doctor and ask about the odds of his sight improving....a lot of his future improvement depends on when the Glaucoma was found...early stage Glaucoma detection often has better results than later stage. The doctor can evaluate your dad's specific case & give you realistic expectations for his treatment results.
