My opthamolagist says I have nerves in my eyes that resemble glaucoma..?

I am 17 years old.. and also have a small case of horners that I was born with. Could I have been born with these nerves as well?

It is possible that you were born with this appearance and it is not glaucoma. Generally glaucoma tends to affect people after the age of 40, but there is a type of glaucoma called juvenile glaucoma, but this is quite rare in comparison. Your ophthalmologist will have to monitor things and check your eye pressure over a few months to determine whether this appearance is just physiological (normal) or whether it is in fact a sign of glaucoma.

"Could I have been born with these nerves as well?"

Yes. The appearance of the nerves at the optic disc can vary a lot in normal individuals, and being away from the average is not, of itself, anything conclusive.
The results of pressure tests and visual field exams will help decide and, if there is any doubt, a shorter re-check interval is likely to be advised to "keep an eye on it", if you will excuse the phrase.

Either way: if it is something they are on to it,
and if it is isn't the normal appearance *for you* will be noted and on file, as a base-line to detect any future variation.
