Glaucoma medication question?

I have had glaucoma for 10 years. Have been on diff meds for all of that time..xalatan for the past 8. Now it doesnt seem to be as effective in lowering my pressures. I'm 40 now. Doctor has switched me to lumigan. Has anyone had experience using lumigan??

After awhile any glaucoma drop will be infective... It is normal to switch to a different brand and Lumigan is a good eye drop to replace your current Xalatan medication...

Don't be alarmed if your ophthalmologist switches you to another type, like Travatan, Timolol 0.5%, or Alphagan P... And also, if your interocular pressure has not dropped down, he/she might have you take another type of drop in the morning... Source(s): Ophthalmic Tech for 12 years...
