Cataracts, Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration... is there anything natural that will help?

Cataracts, Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration... is there anything natural that will help?

Check out your local health food store for vitamins/supplements to support the eyes - I know there are products directly for this because my uncle has macular degeneration.

Veggies and fruit have a lot of important antioxidants and vitamins that are good for the eyes.

I believe beta carotene / vit A is very important, and broccoli.

Remember that the body is a whole, you can't just treat the eyes and expect them to get better, the entire health of the individual will help keep problems from developing or returning.

Cataracts: avoid bright sunlight. Wear good sunglasses with UV protection.

Macular degeneration: take a multivitamin that contains LUTIEN. Lutien helps protect against macular degeneration.

Glaucoma? Don't think there's a preventive.
Cruciferous a derivative of kale and brussels sprouts can
hold the line with macular degeneration and sometimes even improve it . Vitamin A and Carbamide help with glaucoma.
Look into a product called Iplex by a company named
Standard Process I use it as the foundation of an eye
protocol.

I read somewhere that by wearing blue blocker sunglasses this has a protective effect against macular degeneration. Also by taking zinc.
