Does everyday drinking of alcohol affects eye with high pressure more....and will this lead to glaucoma
Alcohol consumption does not cause glaucoma. Alcohol will actually lower the pressure in the eye. However, this is not an accurate way to maintain the pressure in your eye. If your pressure is too high or if you have glaucoma it still should be managed by an ophthamologist. If you consume alcohol your eye doctor should now how much so that he can make an accurate assessment of your eye pressure. |
