Can the new STL procedure for glaucoma be done on someone with an existing glaucoma implant in place?

As a practicing optometsist, I am not familiar with this STL procedure..If you can explain what it is, perhaps I can answer your question...!!

It sounds to me like you have a type of glaucoma which was not treated well with medicines.. In other words, your eye pressure readings were NOT going down to an acceptable level with maximum meds and so the ophthalmologist performed a "SHUNT" SO THAT FLUID COULD EXIT YOUR EYE......
