How long after glaucoma surgery is it normal to have blur vision.?

How long after glaucoma surgery is it normal to have blur vision.?

need to know what type of glaucoma surgery to answer that question.. and what was the condition of the eyes before the surgery..

however generally speaking for regular uncomplicated glaucoma surgery you should expect one to two weeks of blurring.. that is acceptable... but complications in surgery do occur and these can prolong the visual complain.. delay of visual recovery shouldn't be viewed by the patient as a bad sign... it can happen and still vision would return to normal.. however.. u should know for your physician what is the reason for this delayed visual recovery... Source(s): I am an ophthalmologist..
Depends on what glaucoma surgery you had done, for "cutting surgery it can take as long as 4-6 weeks, 2-4 the norm, for laser anywhere from immediately to a few days depending on what laser procedure was done. Valves and trabeculectomy have a longer recovery time than a laser does. It is normal to be blurred at first but your vision should not go completely gray or black.
