What is a healthy alternative for Travatan eyedrops for Glaucoma? |
Travatan contains Hydrogenated Castor Oil. The liver cannot process hydrogenated fats and it is a suspected cancer-causing agent. Glaucoma is a nutrition related disease where a lack of proper acid/alkaline balance leads to the optic nerve damage. The herb, eyebright as a tea and eyedrops is well known to help with glaucoma. You might mix your tea with ginkgo biloba as it is an effective way to increse oxygen in the bloodstream. I would recommend cayenne as a daily supplement to increse circulation. Iam taking many of these supplements for eyehealth but making your body more alkaline is central to all healing modalities. Eat less meat and more raw salads. Glaucoma is a pressure disease and if you think that you dropping such a small amount into your eye will cause liver failure then there might be more of a problem then glaucoma. The other alternative is something that is not a suspension product like Lumigan. Also glaucoma is not a nutritional disease it is a disease of pressure in your eye. |
