Have you got Glaucoma?

I think I may have Glaucoma , my eye is painful it feels like its being blown up like a ballon , I am taking paracetomol for the discomfort , also will go to the doctors this week , just thought I would like to hear from sufferers and know how they knew they had it ?

There is normally no pain associated with it. I've had it for years, and there are no symptoms whatsoever.

I only found out I had it when my doctor told me. It's being treated with eye drops twice a day, and the doctor doesn't foresee any future problems.

Glaucoma can be a scary word, since many people associate it with total blindness. But that's not the case unless you neglect it. Proper treatment can keep it under control. I am living proof.

I didn't know Glaucoma caused pain. I was tested for it in high school. It was in October, and the test results were negative. How greatful I was, and what a beautiful time of year to get those happy results!!!
