If your partner is/has been std tested and is shown as clean (also the same for you) then you cannot catch gonorrhea from someone who doesn't have it. Certianily... YEP If your partner is clean then you had to have gotten it from someone else. It is sexually transmitted. Or, maybe your partner is not telling the truth because they cheated. You cant catch it if your partner don't have it, but if he has sex with someone who has it you can catch it! (USE CONDOMS) every time Gonorrhea is one of the most common and oldest known sexually transmitted diseases Yes if you were with another partner in the past who you got it from. It's doubtful, not if you have had unprotected sex with your partner. The incubation period is as much as three days for the clap to reveal itself, so if this is fairly recent, wait a day or two more. If you are female it is very possible to get GC and not even now it for a very long time. Over 60% of females contract GC and are asymptomatic. So, your partner may be clean... but your previous partner may have infected you. First off. What looks "clean" is not always clean. Gonnorrea does not have a certain look. You can get a STD from anyone that is sexually active. Most ppl dont even know they have a STD and they continue having sex and spreading the infection to others. Get tested if you think youre infected and restrain from sexual relations until youre better. Also always use protection. |

Worst case scenario is if the infection reached your fallopian tubes and... You are in luck, sort of. Chlamydia and gonorrhea are not diagnosed via blood test. To diagnose it the doc will take a swab of the urethra for a male and the cervix for a female (this is why I say ... gonorrhea and chlamydia often occur at the same time. Ask your doc for a gc and chlamydia test. Then they will give you anti-biotics to clear it up. And next time use a condom. Let the person yo... Well, if she was treated for gonorrhea shortly after being exposed, I'm not sure how it is suddenly in her eye. I have heard of Chlamydia in the eye but it's uncommon in the U.S. &q... Don't have to go to a specialist yet =) ...Blood tests aren't normally done for Gonorrhea or Chlamydia. They usually if not most the time take a urine or swab sample.
