okay so i think i might have gonorrhea but the thing is i have NEVER had sex, EVER and i seemed to be getting these symptoms leading to gonorrhea! im so nervous to go to a doctor let alone my own parents! im afraid of what they or anyone will think! i know that i should go to a doctor and fast but i don't know how to tell my parents! please help! Well you can't get a STD without having sex. You may have a UTI or yeast infection. Any way you need to tell your mother and then go to the doctor to get it take care of. Just tell your parents that you have never have sex, and tell them your worries. Just about impossible to catch a STD without having sexual contact with another. And, you should have briefed us on your symptoms for a halfway intelligent answer. How did you come to the conclusion that you have 'gonorrhoea'? You just can't get gonorrhoea without sexual exposure. Well, what are your symptoms? It's nearly impossible to help you unless you tell us what's wrong. Also, without having sex, the probability of an STD is less than 5%. go to the doctor Looks like this has been answered pretty well... If you have never had sex you should be ok. It could be a UTI or possibly a yeast infection. In any case, if you do have gonorrhea it is treatable with antibiotics. You can go to a planned parenthood or something similiar. Also, I do not think your regular doctor can tell your parents, that would be a breach of the doctor-patient confidentiality. if you cant talk to your parents, then go to your doctor, they are there for you and wont make you uncomfortable or feel bad, that's what they are there for, you! but if you have never had sex, its really not possible to get std`s... Go talk to your doctor, its obvious you need to talk to someone! don't be nervous. try talk to your parents, just tell them your having girl problems, and embarrassed to tell them about it! l hope you work it out, keep smiling :) |
