Can gonorrhea be transmitted through blood/needles? |
I am wondering if gonorrhea can be transmitted through blood because I recently tested positive for gonorrhea. I know for a fact he did not cheat on me and he thinks I am the one who cheated on him. It's more likely that he cheated than you were infected by a dirty tattoo needle, especially with the sterilization procedures implemented by most tattoo parlors. If you think you got it from a dirty needle, don't go back to that shop! NO! Gonorrhea is passed through sexual contact only. If he's trying to tell you that its from the needle then he's lying to you. Check with you OBGYN, she or he will tell you all the ways it can be transmitted. As much as it hurts to think about it, it sounds like your man is cheating you, which is especially messed up since you were pregnant and could have passed it onto the baby during delivery! |
