Can you get Gonorrhea from someone that had it before and is now cured?

One of my special friends I guess you could say, got Gonorrhea about a month ago, and he's taken meds and it's completely gone now. But can I still contract it though somehow?

No you shouldnt be able to catch it unless it wasnt completly cleared up and you had unprotected sex, or if he gave it to you then got cured and you gave it back to him and then you got cured then he could give it back to you. I would be very careful about having unprotected sex with Mr/Miss someone special because if they have already had one std there is a better chance that they can/will get another one AND the more you use antibiotics over and over again the less likely it is that it will work over time because the bacteria gets stronger and then eventually it is resistant to the antibiotic alltogether. Best bet it find a free clinic, get yourself checked and always wear condoms. Good luck.

I wouldn't even think about have sex with that guy again. You don't know who he,s having sex with and obviously he,s doing it without protection.
