Other than sex, where could gonorrhea be acquired by women, Is there any other way other than sex?

A friend of mine was infected by it after a week of sexual contact with her girlfriend. They have been lovers for the last four years. However , he claims that after a week he had been staining in his underwear. His girlfriend have also been claiming prior to that. He swore he never had anybody else except his girlfriend for the past four years. However, his girlfriend was claiming the same thing. but according to him, prior to their last sexual contact, his girlfriend have been claiming she had burning and itching sensation in her vagina. Her girlfriend had a checkup last week, and details were not very much clear to him. what was important to him was to get rid of the disease. So he took the same antibiotics the doctor prescribed her girlfriend. The antibiotics was Cefixime. I know my friend, but unless somebody tells me that gonorrhea can also be acquired in some ways, my doubts with her girlfriend is 100% positive. I think his girlfriend is making a sucker out of him.. In nature his girlfriend is flirty, I'm having the notion that his girlfriend got this from another guy. However, I want to give it the benefit of the doubt unless somebody out there can tell me another possibility on how it has been acquired. Their relation for the time being is shaky because of this.. anyone?...

This Dr. tells it all

Nope -- Toilet seats will not get you anything except pubic lice.

You get GC from sex or intimate contact, not from a toilet seat. one of them or both of them are being intimate outside the relationship.
