How long does it take for a female to stop getting the yellowish discharge after being treated for gonorrhea?

my sister recently got gonorrhea from her boyfriend. both were treated but she is still getting the discharge. how long does it take after being treated does the discharge disappear? she got treated 3/17

Most women with gonorrhea should be re-evaluated about a week after treatment. She should have an appt this week.
Important info: If whomever her boyfriend got it from has not been treated as well , and has had physical contact with him/her and then she has had contact with him as well, it is quite possible that she could have been re-infected. Let's hope that is not the case. I am also hoping they did a full STD work up on the both of them.
Be a good sis and buy her a box of condoms and show her how to use them, ok? That one very kind act on your part just might save her life. She should NOT be having unprotected sex, even with her boyfriend. Remind her she needs to make sure he wraps it up each and every time to make sure he doesn't give her any other, life-long or possibly life threatening "gifts".
