Can i get gonorrhea from a person with UTI?

im really confused, because my partner has UTI and I have gonorrhea.

Chances are, if you have gonorrhea and you didn't get it from anyone else, your partner has told you he/she has UTI but is actually suffering from Gonorrhea. In fact, "in men, urethritis often is the result of bacteria acquired through sexual contact. The majority of such infections are caused by gonorrhea and chlamydia," according to Mayoclinic.com.

Luckily for you, UTI and Gonorrhea can be cured with the same antibiotics. I'd go to your doctor and get a diagnosis. (It sounds like you already have). Get some antibiotics and get rid of these things. To answer your REAL question: no, you can't get gonorrhea from a person with UTI. Source(s): http://www.getridofthings.com/stds/getri...
This looks like another idiot question to me but you can only get gonorrhea from someone that has gonorrhea. A UTI or urinary tract infection can be caused by any number of organisms. In simple terms you might understand you can't get mumps from someone with measles and gonorrhea and a UTI work the same way.
UMMM ONLY IF THAT PERSON HAS GONORRHEA
no.unless she has gonorrhea to.both of u should go to the doctor, so there wont be ping pong phenomenon
Urinary tract infections are generally caused by Staph saprophyticus, E. coli, Enterococcus, Klebsiella, Proteus and Pseudomonas.
Gonorrhoea:
Gonorrhoea is a serious illness caused by an organism called Neisseria gonorrhoeae.
It has an incubation period of only a few days.
Males experience a discharge from the urethra - the tube that carries urine from the bladder and out through the penis - causing painful urination, while females suffer infection of the urethra and cervix.
Women who are infected have a long term risk of serious complications, such as infertility or ectopic pregnancy.
However, it is possible to be infected with gonorrhoea without showing any obvious symptoms.
Women are particularly vulnerable to this asymptomatic form of the disease.
The condition can be treated with antibiotics. However, it is becoming resistant to some drugs.
