He probably did get them. He needs to see a doc and get tested. Males don't always show symptoms. Have him see his doc and get tested and no sex until you both get treated etc.

if he was taking antibiotics at the time he may not have shown symptoms.
Just because he isn't showing symptoms right now doesn't mean he got off scott free. He's probably got some of his own that you don't know about.
He could have them. Usually symptoms don't occur.. if they do then it's not for a few weeks you should both get tested. Next time it needs to be protected sex. Unprotected sex is very dangerous especially if you or the other person is carrying something. You need to tell him that you have std's if you already haven't.
