Why can chlamydia and gonorrhea be transmitted with oral to genital contact but not oral to oral?


So oral sex can transmit these STD's but kissing generally cannot. How can that be? If a person's saliva can transmit to the genitals and vice verca why not kissing, strange. Anyone know why?
