What are the symptoms of Gonorrhea?

I prefer getting answers from people who have it, have had it or know someone who had it. I've been on websites with facts-i havent been to the Dr. yet.-but i want some personalized facts...thanks guys!!!

I am a sex counselor who goes to schools teaching students about the risk of sex. From what is known right now gonorrhea often has no early signs. This is especially true for women. Early signs may include: a yellow or whit discharge for the penis of vagina. pain or burning when urinating. Women may also have pain in the lower abdomen or bleeding between periods (this symptom may not be gonorrhea so, you should see a doctor.)
I knew someone who had it once, but i have no idea what the symptoms are.
Gonorrhea in women can involve any portion of the genital tract, the oropharynx or become disseminated.

The most common site of mucosal infection with N. gonorrhoeae is the cervix. Approximately 50 percent of infected women with cervical infection are asymptomatic. Symptomatic infection typically manifests as vaginal pruritis and/or a mucopurulent discharge.

Painful urination is another symptom.

The vast majority of anorectal infections are asymptomatic Only 3 percent of cases present with symptoms, including anal itching, rectal discharge, rectal fullness and painful defecation.

NO, I have never had gonorrhea, but I have treated patients with it.

Best of luck.

Most common symptoms are vaginal discharge, pain or burning on urination, urinary hesitancy, sore throat, painful sexual intercourse and mouth sores.

Gonorrhea can be identified in women most rapidly when the organisms are seen under the microscope in a sample from the cervix. Although this method is the fastest, it is not the most certain.

In suspected cases of gonorrhea, cultures should be taken from the cervix, vagina, anus, urethra, or the throat (pharynx). Laboratories can give a preliminary diagnosis often within 24 hours and a confirmed diagnosis within 72 hours.

don't have it never have although i have seen many cases. First off you will have a horrific stench about you. not to mention oozing penile discharge and quite possibly burning during urination. i suggest you seek proffetional help
A woman may have these symptoms:

Pain or burning when passing urine
Vaginal discharge that is yellow or sometimes bloody
Bleeding between menstrual periods
Heavy bleeding with periods
Pain during sex
Any genital symptoms such as discharge, burning during urination, or pain during sex should be a signal to stop having sex and to see a doctor right away. Women with gonorrhea are at risk of developing serious complications from the infection, whether or not there are symptoms.

10 days from getting gonorrhea you could have some none or all the symptoms.
