Once your treated for gonorrhea how long before all symptoms are gone?


Its been 4 days & I still have a clear leakage but no burning or puss is this normal ?

That sounds normal. It may be another week or three before all symptoms have completely disappeared.

Make sure you return for a follow up with your doctor (usually after a week or two).

This is so you can check the infection has completely cleared, and also make sure that your infection was sensitive to the antibiotics your doctor prescribed. Also to follow up the results of any other tests.

Your partner or partners also need to be treated as well, otherwise you will become reinfected.
