Do you have to have gonorrhea in order to transmite to partner?

My boyfriend told me of a discoloration in his sperm after we have sex, he looked up these symtoms and thats what he came up with. But he doesn't have any other symtoms that are envolved with this disease and I read that I could have it and not know it, but I don't have any of the long term symtoms that come with it. he Also read that bacteria from my vagina could develope the disease and then that could tranfer to him but to me that doesn't sound right. I guess What i am asking is should I maybe worried that my dumbass boyfriend cheated on me with a nasty scank? and now he gave it to me.

The bacteria in your vagina can not change into gonorrhea. That would be like a monkey turning into a fish. It is true that a woman can have it for a long time and not know. It is possible that you got it from a sexual partner years ago and have now infected your current boyfriend. However, if you had it for a long time and you and your boyfriend have been sexually active for awhile it seems he would have caught it before now. It is possible that he did sleep with someone else and brought this home. Please get the both of you tested. They can give you antibiotics for this, but you both need to take them and complete the entire course. Otherwise, you can keep passing it back and forth. If you don't have a doctor or insurance, there are free clinics that can help you.
I hope this works out OK.
Before you can give it, you have to have it.
Don't assume anything, know the facts before flying off the handle.
Bacteria from your vagina WILL NOT develop the disease. Though you could develop a Yeast Infection. Which could be transmitted to your boyfriend.
Go to your doctor and have a check up and tell him what's going on, he'll explain it all to you if you ask, and be able to tell, with tests, if either of you have any STDs and treat you for them if you do.
Your boyfriend is half-a$$ed informed with just enough info to scare the crap out of you. He should have gone to the doc the minute he noticed the color change.
Both partners should be tested for gonorrhea and treament taken. Gonorrhoea is a serious illness caused by an organism called Neisseria gonorrhoeae. It has an incubation period of only a few days. Males experience a discharge from the urethra - the tube that carries urine from the bladder and out through the penis - causing painful urination, while females suffer infection of the urethra and cervix. Women who are infected have a long term risk of serious complications, such as infertility or ectopic pregnancy. However, it is possible to be infected with gonorrhoea without showing any obvious symptoms. Women are particularly vulnerable to this asymptomatic form of the disease. The condition can be treated with antibiotics. However, it is becoming resistant to some drugs.

I think it is better if you see your doctor and talk about it.
The doctor will do some test and he will give the information you need to know.good luck.
you can't give somebody a disease you don't have for starters. and perhaps both you and your boyfriend should go get tested for any and all stds and practice safe sex. always always always use a condom, because you just never know.
You either have to carrying the disease or have it yourself before you can transmit it.
