Should i take ciprofloxacin for a Gonorrhea infection?

My medications that my doc prescribed me are questionable due to me listing them on here and getting bad responses about each one. I dont think he knows what hes doing. I did hear that ciprofloxacin is used for bacterial infections. I also saw it on a site. Should i take it upon myself to buy and take this medication. And if so, how many do i need to take a day. Does anyone have experience taking them or having any other recommendations?

I think you need to get a second oppinion. I checked online as you did and there was no mention on any site that this was for gonorrhea. I found some info regarding this. Read on.

About 3/4 of the way down you will find your answer.
I think for these conditions Gp's aren't 100% clued up on, so if you have a family planning centre go and see them and ask about the medication there. And also whilst your there you can ask about contraception for the future and ensure whilst you have this infection that you use condoms.
