Yes, STDs are not always, 100% of the time transmitted from one person to another. That doesn't excuse unsafe sex, generally, because there is always a big risk. Shouldn't you be more concerned with the fact that your negative gonorrhea results prove that your boyfriend has at least one other sex partner? That's often the case. Very common. your body resisted the germ. note to blackbird! what happened/ we were suppose to meet up... click my avatar. Sure it is, now dump your partner. Well ... yeah it is possible... sometimes they are not transmitted the 1st time. But... how did he get it? He would have had to have stepped out on the relationship to contract this disease. I would maybe go back to the doctor again in a week or so to see if it has come up yet or not just to be safe....sometimes they don't always show up immediately. It is possible, depending on a bunch of stuff. By you may wish to get retested after a few months. Also, some doctors may be reluctant to tell you, especially if you have a long-term relationship or are married. Your best bet, according to my wife, is to get an honest answer from a clinic such as Planned Parenthood, as they will be most likely the place to get an honest answer. |
