Does a low immune system allways indicate HIV/AIDS? |
if not what else can be the factors No, people can have poor immune systems as a result of other medical conditions or treatments, such as chemotherapy or radiation, or taking antirejection drugs to lower the body's immune response following organ transplant (which reduces the risk that the body will reject the donor organ). Has yours always been low?No it does not meanHIV/Aids - you might want to check how long and if it's been constantly low to narrow down other possibilities-factors it need not be HIV or cancer. it can be any infection or disease condition. a low immune system can be anything from the flu to something more severe, mine is low right now because I had an abscess in my tooth sometimes it could simply be you are anemic and your immune system is weak |
