Could my boyfriend have hiv?

my boyfriend slept with a girl,well,he couldnt get hard with her and didnt actually sleep with her just kind of went in her for a minute and out again AND he was wearing a condom.this was in august time and we wernt together.we got back together in sept but have been told recently that this girl he slept with has got hiv and very very dirty.we have had sex like everyday since sept and i got checked out about a month and a half ago and was clear so is there any chance that he could of caught hiv at all?even though it was only for a minute and with a condom.he did kiss her uing tongues and also put his fingers in her?please help

Condoms are not 100% safe although it is effective in guarding against disease.

3 months after the deed (with checks in between) is the reporting period for HIV and it will show if he / you have it or not. As to your question, if he has been tested and nothing has shown then you are safe to say he / you don't have the virus. However there is more to be worried about things such as other diseases. Fingers touching her then his penis can transmit disease etc.

If he wore a condom & it didn't break - it's unlikely that he's caught anything.

If you've both been tested since then & they came back clean, then there's nothing to worry about.

It's possible to catch something using your fingers - say, if he put his fingers anywhere near his mouth after having them inside her (and before washing them) then there's a chance that he could catch something orally. Though this would show up in a text, so again - it sounds like everything's fine.

Why doesn't he just get a blood test. They're free at your local GUM clinic (Genito-Urinary Medicine) and it will give him the answer that nobody on here can.

Just for the record though, you cannot catch HIV from saliva, people with HIV are not necessarily any dirtier or cleaner than anybody else, and lastly let me assure you that if he couldn't get even a partial erection then his penis was not inside her. Anyone who has ever tried this will know its completely impossible.

I think it is unlikely that he got infected however in order for you ever to feel at ease about this he is going to have to get tested. This would be the best and most resposible thing to do all round. Im sure he has concerns as well and it will put his mind at rest and then u can both get on with ur life together and put this in the past where it belongs.

Have him go get checked out. You can also contract it through the mouth but is very UNCOMMON. The only way is if the chick had a cut or was bleeding from the gums.

Get him checked and your self again cos it does not always show straight away.

if he had a condom on he is safe.
