Need help and advice on HIV?

Around beginning to mid December 2008 I had unprotected sex with a male, I am female. I believe it was low risk. He did not *** at all he says. He didn't even *** inside me. I went to get tested for STD's and HIV in beginning of January, again on March 21, and in beginning of April. All were negative. I am so worried about this. I am just getting over the stomach flu, and I believe I might have gastritis. I also recently saw two small redish/brownish like pinpoint bumps on the side of my cheek. Is this signs of HIV? Should I still be worried with 3 negative tests? Am I out of my window period? I am so stressed and have major anxiety over this. Please help, thanks.

A test will not be accurate until about 3 months after the exposure.

In the meantime stop having unprotected sex. It is unlikely that he is infected, and it is unlikely that you've contracted HIV. I would not link any "symptoms" with HIV since you can just as easily get HIV with no symptoms. There is no reason to worry yourself over more-than-likely unrelated symptoms.

Learn a lesson about putting yourself at risk, and stop doing that. I'm sure you will be fine and test negative in 3 months. Just don't have any more unprotected sex. There's no reason to do it!

I don't believe there is any unprotected sex that would be considered LOW RISK SEX. Are you fertile?

At any rate, the HIV would be detectible after 30 days of exposure. And you've had subsequent testing, all negative. Whew!!

It is ok for you to carry condoms so that you don't have to put yourself through this again in the future.

Do keep a look out for other symptoms, which may indicate other STDs. The open areas in your mouth may just be little blood blisters or broken capillaries. Can rinse your mouth with salt water (don't swallow the salt water), which will help to resolve these concerns.

Your abdominal issues will more than likely resolve as well since you may now breathe a sigh of relief relating to being HIV positive.
