Can oral sex give you HIV?

The HIV is in the fluid from the seman. That is going right into your mouth. That is an open door to get it!

The only way to not get HIV is to use protection during sex and during oral sex and to get you and your partner tested.

Oral sex is VERY low risk for HIV infection. If you floss, brush your teeth so before oral sex, or have a sore in your mouth that is a higher risk. But normally, oral sex is not a high risk for HIV infection. You are at a greate risk for a STD of the throat, but that is cured with medications.
