How long(years?) would notice that being infected by HIV after date with infected person?

I am not sure if this is what you are asking....Do you want to know the average time between contracting (getting) HIV and when you are diagnosed?
A person can be infected with HIV and not know it, because any symptoms or illnesses related to HIV may not occur for many years after infection. Most people lead healthy and productive lives after HIV infection鈥攊n fact, many people are not aware they are infected because they feel fine. Unfortunately, even if the infected person feels fine, he or she can pass the infection on to others. In the U.S. and Europe, the average time from HIV infection to the development of AIDS is more than 11 years. http://www.engenderhealth.org/res/onc/hi...
