Supposedly you cant catch HIV from saliva. I guess it takes a cup of saliva to even show traces of HIV. My info may be outdated so I would ask WEBMD. It's very unlikely that they would get infected. The only way they might get infected is if they had a sore in their mouths.Even then, it would be VERY unlikely. But why would someone drink out of a bottle that has been sitting open for a couple of hours anyway? no because Hiv cannot be contractred from saliva only on sexual, or blood contact, so if the saliva was bloody then maybe yeh!! No, i learned you would have to drink two gallons of pure salivia to have even a little chance of contracting the disease you cant get it from saliva. |
