What are some good ideas for a Bake Sale, to support HIV/AIDS charity? CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!!!! I'll buy one. Or two..... OK, serious now. Some small stuff, cookies, cupcakes, little pies, tartlets, brownies, for those who can't spend big. Some bigger stuff for those with more money - cakes, pies, tarts, larger brownies. Some fancily decorated stuff for the really fancy moneyed folks. Have a really superfine fancy cake donated and sell raffle tickets for it. Source(s): FTW Dammit, I want chocky cake now. Make brownies! :D Have a cake silent auction. Have people bake several kinds of cakes. Set up cakes on a table with cards next to them. People place their bids on the cards. Whoever had the highest bid wins the cake. I would seriously love a carrot cake with cream cheese icing and a really good key lime pie. Of course there are always chocolate chip cookies. Apple pies usually sell well, particularly if you sell them by the slice with ice cream on top. I hope this helps. We did this a lot of years ago. The favorite dish was a bread pudding baked in a pan that was shaped like a phallus. Anyway they had made about 10 of them. They had pink frosting and cream cheese centers. They were called "Penis Pudding" delux. (because of the size about 30" long and 6"wide and 6" deep) $1.00 per slice. I don't know if that would go over well today or not. But it would be worth suggesting. |
