When you get your HIV test done (blood test) do you always have to make an appoitment to get results? |
because i asked to them to tell me over the phone,, but the clinic says that they only give out test results in person..is that true? Usually if you go to a clinic you have to come in person for the results....part of the privacy policy. It's nothing to do with the results. If you go to your primary doctor he will probably tell you over the phone. no=if there is anything on the test Dr will call you to go in =now news is good news ,right yes it's true they make you come in no matter what. It depends on the clinic or doctor. However, most of the time they call you in to give you the results. If you would like to keep it private you can purchase a home HIV test at Walgreens and mail it in. They give you a number and you name is not associated with it. No they can call you over the phone.. yes, it is illegal to tell some 1 they have aids by the phone. because they might be talking to some1 else that is not you, and your secret might be reaveld. this law was made because a nurse told some1 by phone and it turned out to be the girls husband. he left her and she sued the hospital. she won.
