Question for anyone with hpv?

I just found out I have the hpv virus. I have been doing alot of research, but can't find the answer to the question i have. I have been in a faithful relationship with my partner for over a year and I just found out today that I carry the virus. How do I tell him??

The same thing is happening to me. It sucks for us women who are actually affected by it, men are just carriers without being affected. I have been with my boyfriend for over a year and I just had an abnormal pap and had to go in for a biopsy (Calposcopy) for further testing. The results came back Moderate/Severe so now I have to get a LEEP procedure done (doctor cryogenically burns off all the hpv lesions on my cervix/uterus.)

My mind has been racing about where I could have picked up this virus, and realized that it's useless to blame my boyfriend because it does no good. He is actually very supportive and and helpful because I am very scared. I also researched and found that 65% of women will carry the virus in their lifetime. Medicine should find a cure for this because I think it's barbaric that the doctor has to go in and physically cut it out of me.

I don't think you should worry about how your boyfriend will react, if he loves you, he will support you. Also, it's you that has to worry, not him.

He is probably the one who gave it to you.

It's not an STD....

~Well just sit him down and tell him...i m in a situation where i got to say something negative to someone ... so i know what ur going thru.
The thing is.. it is something that can silently b in ur body and only flair out at certain times... its not serious enough to break a relationship...
But it one of those effing things life has to dampen ur situation.. but dont see it that way...
It is caused thru sexual contact... not like promiscuosity or anything like that... it just happens then...That' s the reason why they encourage young pple to not hav sex to young... but dont worry .. get courage and spit it out...

Unless both partners have only been with their partner, you are at risk for any STD. He may have been the one to give it to you. It is a risk you take being sexual with anyone. We all know its out there we just need to be more careful. If he was that worried about it he would of always worn a condom. Don't think its all your fault because you 2 are in this together and remember it could have come from him. Just relax and tell him and research HPV and do the best to protect yourselfs. Take care!!

HPV isn't a big deal. About 80% of the population has it (most of us just don't know about it). Just tell him you just found out you had an abnormal pap smear and the doctor told you that means you have HPV. Unless you have genital warts as well, he shouldn't have any symptoms. Just keep getting your pap smears to make sure you stay healthy.

Honey I have HPV.
Some people have the virus and never have an outbreak of actual warts , some have an outbreak that is "where the sun don't shine"and it can also lay dormant , stress may bring on an outbreak. He could have messed around on you and got it or possibly one of you got it before you got together. You need to stay on top of your pap smear exams now. HPV causes cervical cancer. You can be tested to see if the strain of the virus you have is one of the ones that does.

The answers you're looking for to maybe treat your symptoms may be more readily found if you look up how diet plays a part in this virus. I found this site for you about a person who went on a juice and vegetable fast to clear up the condition. On a standard diet we are often told we need to eat fruits and vegetables, but rarely do any of us follow this advice, as we are often told that we should also eat from a lot of the other food groups. But actually (and I've tried this myself), eating a diet made up of just fruits and vegetables or mostly fruits and vegetables can help the body heal itself. It's based on the idea that humans were designed to only eat fruits, vegetables, herbs and nuts. If you do this for over a month, you may start to see a remarkable change in your condition.

Try researching "the raw food diet" for more information on how it can help you.
