Will the HPV in my body ever go away? |
I have the HPV I the genital warts kind, I havent had anything down there in 3 years since i had them taken care of with acid i dont have insurance right now t go to the Docs office.. my bf knows i have it so thats out of the way.. i just want to know if I will ever be able to have unprotected sex with him (he has the other kind of HPV he dosent get warts on his genitals just every where else) my doc told me that the virus will eventually go away by itself but i dont know how much i believe that cause when i was diagnosed by my first Doc i was told i would have it forever please someone Heelppp I have never had Unprotected sex with my BF cause I do not want him to get it. This is from the Center for Disease control website: I got this according to the CDC website Hello, well as far as i know u will have it forever cause it is in ur blood and body foreva. i did not know that there is more than one type. cryotherapy is the only way to get rid of them for good (visibly anywayz) ur guy is prob. making ur outbreaks come back since he has a more severe case u know. so the answer is no protection is ur only way of keeping the warts away! yes, it will go away. i dont think there is a cure no it will stay with u until u die There can be some misunderstanding when it comes to terminology on this topic. The HPV virus will never go away and with that being said there is always the possibility of infecting others. What the doctor may have been trying to tell you when he said it would "go away" may be that you will stop having new warts appear but that the virus will still remain in your body. |
