I have HPV virus. My doctor said that it was transmitted from my husband. Does my husband also need to test?

I have HPV virus. My doctor said that it was transmitted from my husband. Does my husband also need to test?

There is no test for HPV in men, only visual examination. For instance, if there are warts present. Otherwise, no.

There is no test to find out if men have HPV. They're just carriers and women suffer for it. You could have gotten it long before your husband. The unfortuante thing is that men have no signs or symptoms of it and women end up with uterine, cervical and vaginal cancer from it.
