Can HPV be transmitted even if I had it a long time ago? |
WHEN I WAS 6 I COULD HAVE BEEN INFECTED WITH HPV HPV is yours for keeps. You could get it in your youth and give the same on your death bed. I believe the virus does lie dormant...but you need to ask a doctor for sure. HPV can be transmitted even if you have no visible symptoms. HPV will remain dormant in the body till the rest of your life.
