HPV during pregnancy?

(please don't answer telling me to talk to my doctor because I have an appointment with my OB Jan 7th and I will talk to her I just want a public opinion basically)
I got my first pap smear on my first OB visit and I had cervical displasia(sp?) and my doctor didn't seem too worried. She did a 2nd pap test on my 2nd visit as well as looking up my vag with some sort or microscope thing and she said there was no need for a biopsy and just said all she was going to do was keep and eye on me. Just recently (tonight actually) I noticed about two small (possibly white) bumps on the inside of my inner labia close to the opening of my vagina. Mind you my belly is big and the lighting was bad so its really hard to get a good look at my vagina with a mirror so i haven't got a really good look at these buggers. I was just wondering if I should be worried. I've done research and have mixed feelings. Anyone care to share their opinons or personal stories I'm just a worried pregnant lady is all. =/

Thank you to you all for your serious and helpful answers! (Merry Christmas!)

If I was you, I wouldn't worry about it..if you do have HPV, which could possibly be causing the genital bumps, (which would be warts) there is no getting rid of them from your body, so I wouldn't stress over something you really have no control over. Trust me, I know from experience with something else. Just relax, and tell your doctor when you see her, how they felt (if they're gone) and what you saw they looked like, etc..and she will be able to possibly treat them, or just give you advice.. Dont stress, its Christmas! Good Luck!

I justed looked at the CDC website and they say for pregnant women NOT to get the shot.

Could just be clogged glands down there. don't worry too much as there is nothing that can be done right now, check with your doctor on the 7th.

HPV can often show no symptoms and if you do have the strain that has genital warts, you can actually go months or years without ever showing warts and stressful situations such as pregnancy can make you break out.

Supposedly this virus will be in your body forever, I know someone who had an outbreak of the warts twice, then she's never had them again even when she was pregnant and it's been about 8 years, but the virus is supposed to be there forever and you can still pass it on.

With pregnancy the concern with having an outbreak of warts when you deliver is passing them to the baby (baby can get them in throat or eyes) So if you do have them around that time they will probably try to treat them (freeze them off) so they won't be passed to the baby.

Also if you do have the strain that is warts, I'VE HEARD(not sure if this is fact or not) that it means you're not going to get cervical cancer because that comes from the strains that do not cause warts, so although a little icky and sucky to get warts frozen off, it's not really that big of a deal, just be honest with your Doc so they can protect the baby.
