Can you tell me some at-home HPV tests I can use? |
I live in the U.S. I'm trying to search for some and compare prices. Ok, I know there are some at-home tests because I know of one. I just wanted to find some other ones so I can compare prices. I have never heard of a home test for hpv but they should be one the have test for everything else I would try a obgyn they can give you the test and most insurance covers this test! I did find this online Jun 04, 2007 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The drugs regulator in Australia has approved a home-based test kit for the human papilloma virus (HPV) that causes most cervical cancers. The "Tamp Pap" kit allows women to take a sample using a tampon and mail it off to a pathology centre in a pre-addressed envelope. The kit will only be available through doctors and cannot be advertised. The problem with this kit is that it tells the woman very little. Every sexually active woman over the age of 18 needs to have a pap test every two years. Only ... there.s no such test only a .dr. can order the tests and it.s fact . no home testing on this matter. sorry but it.s fact. ? |
