I need advice my girlfriend has recently got hpv but when i met her i was a virgin and im worried about how?

she got it...because idk if its sexually transmitted and if it is the only way it means she have had to cheat on me 2 contract it because 9 months ago she didnt have anything how do i find out

HPV doesn't turn up right away. It is transmitted sexually yes, but the introduction to this can take a long time to become the disease. It is very likely she was exposed prior to you, even yrs before. You can't find out unfortunately.

also, she oculd have had it for years and it not shwon up until now

Some HPV is not sexually transmitted.

They definitely say it on some of the HPV info commercials encouraging the shot.

I got the shot because it is a virus that causes cervical cancer, and you can get it without having sex.

If you are worried, ask her about it, tell her you aren't accusing her, you just don't know much about HPV.
