What is this blister on my tongue? i also have hpv, related? |
a small painful to touch blister on the underside of my tongue keeps re apearing. it first lasted a few minutes then hours now days. it randomly pops up and has been happening more frequently and lasting longer. any suggestions? It's probably a cankersore. It's a form of herpes, yes. But they're pretty common. Mostly if you ignore it it goes away. And you don't always have to have sexual contact forit to happen. I read about them when I had one and it says that doctors don't really know what causes it yet. But you can go to a doctor if you want help treating it. Gargling salt water helps, but isn't very appetizing! Lol. Mostly though, I just wait for them to go away. Sorry to tell you, but you might have herpies, i wouldnt advise touching the blister. Get yourself checked at the doctor. probably a cancasore!!!! those hurt It could be a multitude of things. It could be an allergic reaction to something. I know a lot of times, if there is something wrong with your stomach, blisters appear on your tongue. All you have to do is figure out what causes it, then stop digesting the food. Sometimes it's unclear bowel movement. It can be from eating hot, spicy foods, or really salty foods. Could be from taking Biaxin, or just a canker sore. I wouldn't really say it's related to HPV without asking a doctor, but there is a lot of things it could be. Get a professional opinion. :) Not related to hpv, most lkely not herpes but possible. It is probably a kancore sore, use salt on it and it should heal in a week or so Call your Dr. and find out for sure. This way if it does happen to be herpes, maybe the Dr. could prescribe something to prevent so many outbreaks. It may just be a canker sore. Sometimes when I've been really nervous or upset I get a small sore inside my lower lip. I rinse my mouth with luke warm salt water and get otc meds. see your..dr from your typing it.s herpies |
