Can a woman give HPV to a guy?

i have HPV and have been sexually active with a new partner can i give HPV to him? and if he has it from me, can he transfer to another girl?i urgently need to get answers please!

Absolutely!

HPV can be spread from a woman to a man and vice versa.

And, if he does contract the virus from you, then it's possible for him to spread it to any future sex partner he has.

I personally spread HPV to my fiance (not on purpose of course). So, it can happen!

Take care!

Yes you can.

The types of HPV that infect the genital area are spread primarily through genital contact. Most HPV infections have no signs or symptoms; therefore, most infected persons are unaware they are infected, yet they can transmit the virus to a sex partner. Rarely, a pregnant woman can pass HPV to her baby during vaginal delivery. A baby that is exposed to HPV very rarely develops warts in the throat or voice box.

There is no "cure" for HPV infection, although in most women the infection goes away on its own. The treatments provided are directed to the changes in the skin or mucous membrane caused by HPV infection, such as warts and pre-cancerous changes in the cervix.

OMG YES! YOU probably already gave it to him. He can give it to anyone he has sex with.
Your actions are liable for a lawsuit. You acted irresponsibly. I hope he sees this and sues your butt!

Yeah. Where do you think guys get it from? And yes, he can pass it on to another girl. Tell him RIGHT NOW, so he can get tested.

Yes...read this:

"HPV is passed on through genital contact 鈥搈ost often during vaginal and anal sex. Since HPV usually causes no symptoms, most men and women can get HPV 鈥?and pass it on - without realizing it. People can have HPV even if years have passed since they had sex."

HPV I believe is for women... You can look it up on webmd.com and see for sure. I think talking to a dr might help too that's what we pay taxes for give them a call.

(HPV) is a virus that is the cause of common warts of the hands and feet, as well as of lesions of the mucous membranes of the oral, anal, and genital cavities.

HPV genital infection is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases.

The virus can be transmitted through sexual contact

Yes, you can give HPV to a male and vice versa.

HPV is a common virus that infects the skin and mucous membranes. There are approximately 100 types of HPV, and about 30 strains are spread only through direct genital contact. These 鈥済enital鈥?types of HPV are either: 1) 鈥渉igh-risk鈥?-- which means they can cause certain kinds of cancer (most commonly, cervical cancer) if the infection persists, or 2) 鈥渓ow-risk鈥?鈥?which means they are not associated with cancer, but can cause genital warts. Unless you develop one of these problems, the only way to know whether you have HPV is by being tested.

The types of HPV that cause genital warts, abnormal cervical cells, and/or cervical cancer are spread from person to person through sex or intimate skin-to-skin (genital) contact. They are not spread by breathing the air, touching inanimate objects (such as a door knob) or shaking hands. Condoms do provide some protection; however, they cannot prevent infection completely because they do not cover all areas of the genital region.
