No, not all.
You should talk to your doc though as a test will be needed to see which virus it is. Regardless it will contagious to any partners.

If in fact they are "genital warts" then they were caused by a strain of HPV. There are other conditions that can result in growths which may appear in the area, but are not actually warts. In those cases the cause would most likely not be HPV.

Anytime you have new symptoms, especially in the anogenital area it is important to see a physician. So, make an appointment today! And while you are there, get a full STI screening.

Hope this helps

There are so many types of HPV ( about 100). And only some of the types of HPV cause genital warts. the other types can cause cervical cancer, or penile cancer among other things.
Anyway, if you want to know if what you have is actually a case of genital warts, then I'd invite you to view these pictures and compare them to the bumps you have:

Genital warts are growths that appear on the genital area - either externally on the vulva, the anus, or the penis, or internally in the vagina or on the cervix. These growths, which are typically soft, moist, and flesh-colored, can appear alone or in clusters and may be raised or flat, small or large. Less commonly, HPV related growths may appear red or brown.

Genital warts are caused by a 鈥渓ow-risk鈥?type of HPV. 鈥淟ow-risk鈥?means that while the infection can sometimes cause genital warts, there is no danger of it causing cervical cancer in women. These strains of HPV are spread in the same way as 鈥渉igh-risk鈥?types 鈥搕hrough skin-to-skin contact, usually during sexual intercourse.

In men, genital warts typically appear around the anus or on the penis, scrotum, groin, or thighs. Rarely, "high-risk" types of HPV can cause certain types of cancer, such as cancer of the penis or anus.

Note that warts are 鈥渟ite specific.鈥? This means that genital warts will not spread to other parts of the body, such as the hands (just as warts from the hands will not spread to the genital area). However, the hands can be the vehicle that transfers HPV from one person鈥檚 genitals to his or her partner鈥檚.
