Does any one have hpv?????

I have had hpv for the past 2 1/2 years. I got it from my boyfriend and we have been in a long erm realtionship since. but we still have unprocted sex becuase when want a baby. does any have hpv and still have unprocted sex????

I am a 31 year old white female and I have HPV and I was diagnosed at my post-partum check-up in Jan. of 2005, when I had an abnormal pap test. I had some other testing done and my latest pap this past August was fine.

I was under the impression that HPV was stictly a female STD...that infected men are carriers but cannot actually contract the disease.

I had my tubes tied two years ago and my husband and I only have unprotected sex, especially since I've had my tubes tied. Due to other health concerns, I cannot take ANY form of hormonal birth control so since having my tubes tied, we no longer have the need for condoms. And since we are happily married and plan to be with only each other until we die, we see no need to practice safe sex. Having to use condoms made our love-making seem more like casual sex, so we got rid of them after my tubes were tied.

**EDIT** Genital warts are caused my the same virus that causes HPV, however; not every strain of HPV causes warts. I do not have warts and neither does my husband.

**Ummm...no. Would you like mte to post a pic of my crotch? I think YOU are the uneducated one, my dear.

**Sorry, Tori. I don't have warts and neither does my sister-in-law, who also has HPV. Not everyone gets warts!!! And that is per my GYNECOLOGIST!!! And I was being sarcastic about the posting the pic. Just illustrating the point that NOT EVERY WOMAN WITH HPV GETS THE WARTS.

**I got two words for you, Tori...and they ain't "Happy Birthday". I have no desire to connect with you personally. I have nothing more to say. Have a nice day, Jarhead.

yes. i caught it from a whore in w.va . yes i do and no cure for men

yes, about 10000s new HPV people everyday, said by the hpv dating site STDromance.com

Most people who have HPV continue to be sexually active. The reason it is probably the most common STD is that it is generally without symptoms (until the abnormal pap smear shows precancerous cells) and that condoms/"safe" sex techniques are ineffective at preventing its transmission. Having sex with your partner is not going to make the infection worse - you both have the virus which causes the warts. So stay in this relationship for good. Be thankful you have an understanding partner. And make sure you are having annual pap smears.

Yes. I had it and fought with it for 9 years. Found it again when pregnant with my son. this time it turned to cervical cancer and chose to have a hysterectomy due to it coming back after a couple cryotherapy treatments over the years. It is nothing to play around with. Annual to bi-annual checks are very important. And I would be checked before you try to have a baby as when you are pregnant, nothing can be done.

Yes
we both have it & had them burnt off -
no big deal

***Not understanding some of the other answers...it's vaginal warts - they can be burnt off...yes, you have the virus 4EVER and the warts can recurr....many many many millions have it & most don't know it or notice the tiny warts***

**EDIT** please tell MRS that there is NO stigma behind this virus - she seems to be very embarrassed for any of you to think she has a wart....poor uneducated girl***

***I'm fairly sure NObody wants to see your crotch on here - not the place for that. there are other websites you can go to...I'm VERY educated since I have HPV and am not embarrassed about it - you seem to have a problem with anyone knowing - so maybe you should stop owning up to PART of your problem & denying the rest of the problem...that & wanting us all to see your crotch is very immature***READ AGAIN THE PHYSICIAN'S ANSWER ABOVE MINE - EVEN HE SAYS IT CAUSES WARTS....

No more argument please - if MRS would like to contact me by email, please feel free

AW - she wants the last word....and won't email me.....SO immature - please say one more thing - have your last word and avoid actually speaking to me directly - you're 31yo& still act like a child - drop me an email - I'll help educate you - I'm sure you're using a military Dr - so I undersand your confusion
