HPV and vaginal birth?

I have HPV (cervical cancer strain) but have been clear off it for over a year. Can I give vaginal birth... I'm very newly pregnant.

I think it's fine because if you are going to pass it on to your daughter it will be during gestation and not delivery. But talk to your doctor and look online for the information so your as best informed as possible. Congrats and good luck

Well it is a virus and once you have it you have it. There is not getting rid of it. If you mean it hasnt come up on a pap in over a year that happens sometimes. It does not mean it is gone though.
You can still give birth vaginally. Be sure the hospital knows you have it though. They will want to put a cream on the babies eyes right after birth because it can get into them and cause growth like things.
They may also require you and baby to stay and extra day in the hospital cause they do a blood test like 48 hours after birth to see if it comes up in babies blood.

Hope this helps. Talk to your OBGYN about it they will tell you policy for the hospital you will be at.
