I am a 20 yr old male virgin and have been diagnosed with HPV. Could I have gotten this from a toilet seat? The types of HPV that infect the genital area are spread primarily through genital contact. sorry only by sex intercourse. any how do you know you have HPV ??? Report It Genital HPV can not be transmitted by a toliet seat. a true virgin ,has NO sex activity of any kind. ex: oral .SO, if you are a TRUE virgin you would not have ,HPV. talk with ,and be truthful with your Dr .and be tested ,for all other stds. No, not from toilet seat. I have heard that it can be transmitted through oral sex. Also, some "contact" that isn't penetration could lead to this as well. nope i don't believe so u get that from sex yes. maybe. My friends at STDromance com got it from this You couldnt have gotten it from a toilet seat, however if you have recieved oral sex and he/she had sucked one b4 you that had hpv down there, she could transfer it to your genitals. Kinda like herpes. There are two types of herpes, oral and genital. If you have a cold sore or fever blister and kiss someone and they go down on you, you could get it down there also.
