If a guy knows he has had sex with a girl with HPV, and he wants to start a family can he be treated?

So he won't spread it to the girl he wants children with?

the girl can only take the vaccine if its before they get HPV. Men cannot be treated for it...I would suggest you taking the vaccine I think its like 3 shots or something ask your doctor....it might help you from getting it from him....but really.....HPV is SO common now its not really a HUGE thing, you just have to take better care of yourself....

no i don't think he can be treated...only the girl can probably take the HPV vaccine and even that would probably be a risk

There is no cure for HPV. It is not 100% that you have it, but you will never know. Only women can actually get the virus. It will not affevct the man in any way, they jsut carry the virus. You should have nothing to worry about, the girl does on the other hand. HPV can lead to cervial cancer and/or genital warts. Make sure your partner knows that you MAY carry the virus.

    Call your doctor, it may be a side effect from the shot. It shouldn't affect you this way.
